At Tranquility Trail, we want to ensure each animal will be adopted into their forever home. To help match you with the right companion, we do have a screening process that includes an adoption application and adoption contract. All rabbits must be housed indoors and be part of the family. Adoption fees start at $65.

The Bunny Basics Care section is for those who are thinking about adopting a rabbit or just looking for more information on caring for your bunny. Rabbits are wonderful, loving, social animals that deserve to be a part of the family. Rabbits are very intelligent creatures who need interaction and affection. Echo and Coconut

Satin Mix, Male ~ Lop Mix, Female ~ Young

Our names are Echo and Coconut and we are a bonded pair (must be adopted together). We are about 10 months old. The brown one is me, Coconut. I am a lop mix and am a female. Echo is the black one and he's a male. We make the cutest couple! We have SUCH a good time running around and playing each day. We look to each other for companionship and are almost always snuggled against each other. We'd make great companions for you as well- please come in and see us!

King Leo

Lionhead ~ Male ~ Adult

Hi I'm Leo...King Leo that is. It's not because I'm King of the Jungle or anything big and important like that. It's because I'm a Lionhead and I look like a mini-lion. I can tell you that my personality is nothing like a lion. I'm more like a lamb. Yeah, it's been a rough period for me and I've been shuffled around with no place to call home. Not until Tranquility Trail was called and they came and rescued me. Wow...what a day that was! I remember it like it was yesterday. I was at another agency and they knew that the wonderful people at TTAS were already working wonders with some of the other bunnies they had taken in so they thought that I would do best in a pen-only zone with tons of attention from the staff and volunteers and all the love a lamb like me could handle. Well, they were right. In a very short amount of time, I've broken out of my shell and am the first one standing at the front of my pen every single morning. Before I used to hide in the cottage and now I'm begging for head rubs and breakfast first thing. Being a king, I've found that my favorite place is atop my Cottontail Cottage where I can surveil my kingdom. It's where I spend most of my time now. I'm not quite the King of the Warren yet, but I can tell you I do know that I am definitely worth all the time and attention...and these people really like me! All of that unconditional love and acceptance sure has helped me to feel more confident about what I have to offer a family and I'm so much more trusting now. I'm an absolute sweetheart and I will make some wonderful family so lucky someday! I'll need to be brushed each week to keep my gorgeous mane in tiptop shape but once you meet me you'll want to spend every waking moment with me...cuddling, brushing, snuggling and playing with this lionheart. When I first came to Tranquility Trail, I was very overweight and they put me on an exercise program. I love playing, running and jumping and I have already lost weight! If you walk by my pen, I will anxiously run over to greet you. My fur is silky and soft. When I am out, I love to run around and explore! You've got to come see what I'm all about! Hello, my name is Cici. I'm a beautiful girl that has lots of personality and lots of energy! I love to be talked to and require at least a few hours outside of my pen every day so I can play and run off all of my energy! One of my favorite things to play with is a blanket. Blankets are so much fun to crawl under and rearrange! I am looking for a home that is willing to take the time to listen to me when I tell them what I like and what I don't like. For example: I see my pen as my personal space and prefer that others don't come in with me. When I am outside of my pen I am more than happy to spend time with you! A girl just needs a little breathing room; but then again, who doesn't?! If you think I'm your girl, please come visit me!

You don't see bunnies with the beautiful markings I have everyday, that's for sure!  So you're wondering how I ended up here...I was surrendered to a local animal rescue and they weren't able to give me the ongoing care that all bunnies require.  Thankfully, they contacted Tranquility Trail!  I have a spacious pen, am on a good diet, I get playtime every day, and the best part- I get SO much love from the great staff and volunteers here.  This is just my temporary home though- I need a family of my own!
