BUNNY SITTING UPDATE:
Our Bunny Sitting Services are on hold due to RHDV2. Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2 in the SW) is rapidly spreading in the SW USA. There are now confirmed cases in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Nevada and in Mexico. We will be vaccinating all the Tranquility Trail bunnies. A number of vets in the Phoenix area are working together to import the vaccine and have received approval. Until all the TTAS bunnies are vaccinated, our bunny sitting services are on hold. Over the next few months (possibly longer depending on the spread), we will only be able to board rabbits who have been vaccinated for the safety of the other boarding guests. Bunny sitting guests will need proof of vaccination. We take the health and safety of our boarding guests very seriously along with the TTAS bunnies.
If you are interested in more information on the vaccine, please speak to your rabbit savvy vet. If your vet didn't import the vaccine, please contact The Avian and Exotic Animal Clinic of Arizona at firstname.lastname@example.org or any of the Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital locations to reserve a vaccine. There is a very limited supply being imported. For more information on Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus, you can visit the following link: https://rabbit.org/rhdv/
